The Federal Government has recently signed into law an expantion on the solar energy tax credit.
The Federal Tax credit for solar is now a full 30% of the customers cost after the LIPA rebate.
LIPA currently offers a rebate of $3.50/watt for systems up to 10,000 watts. Last year the rebate was $3.75/watt and before that $4.00/watt. A rebate on a 10,000 watt system would be $35,000.
